so today i started this sweet sleeve of a zombie virgin mary with a bunch of zombies tearing away at her robe… problem is, like a dumb-ass, i didn’t snap a pic of it with my phone… i asked my client to send me a pic of it and here it is… well, part of it… you don’t wanna see the whole thing anyway… not yet. maybe you do? too bad! hahaha more like, i’m a dumb-ass and didn’t get any pics of it so we’re both at a loss….

what i did do was add a picture of the drawing… maybe you’ll get the idea of what it will look like with shading and all that… except not in red… sometimes i draw in red. most of the time i sketch in blue and then go over it in black but this time i chose red… why am i rambling about that?

tomorrow i have to shade in a forearm piece and then color in a forearm piece… two different clients but same part of the body… sometimes it works out like that… yeah i’m writing like crap today, sorry, i am super tired… i haven’t been sleeping well… in fact, i’m gonna take a shower and try to get to bed early…

how the hell do you spell shenanigans??

so this is a zoomed in pic of this huge rib piece of skulls i am working on… all in blues and purples… looks really cool! we have only a few more sessions to go before i am done with it so you should be seeing a finished product in the next few months… definitely before he goes off to afghanistan… gnarly how i will see someone a few times a month or like once a month and then it’s like, “oh well i am being shipped off to afghanistan… do you think we can finish before then?” it’s just a crazy thing to hear… so calm… business as usual for those boys. my hat’s off to them…

the other piece i worked on today was another rib piece but this one is like a old circus poster… it’s awesome! i didn’t snap a picture of it because i was already there later than i wanted to be and i had to do the line drawing for a full sleeve i am starting tomorrow… today? FUCK, i need to go to sleep…

here’s a sneak peek of one of the pieces i worked on today….

this close up of a heart is only the center of a humongous chest piece… like, below the belly button to the cleft of his collar bones… he sat like a fucking rock, too! i also worked on a back-piece i have been working on for a while… but for some reason i can’t get that pic to load. maybe WP doesn’t allow two picture files in the same post? i dunno… this shit is new to me, haha… anyway, maybe i don’t want you to see that back-piece just yet anyway, so there! guess you’ll just have to wait!

as for the day, it was a good day with great clients and pad thai for lunch, mmmmmm… and i pretty much listened to Danzig and the Misfits all day… what more could a guy ask for?

This is just the first of many (actual) posts to my website!
